Guten Appetit Catering was started by Ulli Reinartz and Dean Davies, and purchased recently by long-term employee Chef Darrell Jones.
Chef Darrell Jones has worked alongside Ulli for many years – learning from the master himself. Darrell is formally trained – having completed professional cookery, baking and pastry courses before taking out top honours at Weltech in his final year of Professional Cookery.
Ulli was a European trained and qualified chef with more than 30 years’ experience within the hospitality industry. Ulli’s influence on both the food style and professionalism of the staff is still present to this day.
Dean’s 15 years of hospitality experience working in luxury lodges and restaurants in the Wairarapa includes fine establishments such as Salute and the award winning Wakelin House where Dean was Maitre’d.
Susie Carrington is Darrell’s Manager and your first point of contact. A keen foodie with good wine knowledge, she has been in the food and beverage industry for many years. Having owned her own businesses, she has vast experience in all aspects of the hospitality industry.
Based in the Wairarapa, and servicing the greater Wellington and Lower North Island, we are a professional catering company with friendly and efficient staff and are able to handle any kind of function.
